Sensory nasce nel luglio 2017 da un’idea della Casa Conterno Giacomo in collaborazione con l’azienda Zwiesel Kristallglas, soffiatori dal 1872. L’intento è stato quello di creare un calice capace di valorizzare appieno le caratteristiche dei grandi vini. In fase di progettazione è stata studiata una forma capace di coinvolgere tutti i sensi: da qui il nome Sensory. Alla vista esprime tutta la sua sensualità; in mano è leggero e ben bilanciato; fatto vibrare produce un suono limpido e duraturo. Gli aromi sono esaltati dalla linea sinuosa e la caratteristica base piatta unita alla curva del bordo conferisce al vino in bocca un effetto di pienezza e morbidezza.

Sensory was conceived in July, 2017, after a discussion between the Winery Conterno Giacomo and Zwiesel Kristallglas. We at Conterno wanted to create a wine glass that fully enhances the characteristics of great wines. In the designing stage we focused on a shape that involves all the senses; thus the name Sensory was born. The glass expresses sensuality to the eye; it is perfectly balanced in the hand as well as producing a clear and lasting sound. The large base of the bowl together with the curve in the mid-section and the opening of the rim amplify the aromas generating a full and smooth effect on the palate.

Sensory entstand im Juli 2017 aus einer Idee des Hauses Conterno Giacomo in Zusammenarbeit mit Zwiesel Kristallglas, Glasmacher seit 1872. Ziel war es, ein Glas zu entwickeln, das die Charakteristik großer Weine in vollem Umfang zur Geltung bringt. Im Design wurde eine Form gesucht, die es ermöglichen soll, alle Sinne anzusprechen: so entstand der Name Sensory. Schon beim Betrachten drückt es seine ganze Sinnlichkeit aus; in der Hand liegt es leicht und gut ausbalanciert; zum Klingen gebracht, entsteht ein reiner, anhaltender Ton. Durch die geschwungene Linie kommen die Aromen zur vollen Entfaltung, der charakteristische flache Boden in Verbindung mit dem nach außen gewölbten Rand, verleiht dem Wein am Gaumen ein Gefühl von Fülle und Weichheit.

Sensory est né en juillet 2017, suite à une étroite collaboration entre le Domaine Giacomo Conterno et le verrier Zwiesel Kristalglass. Au domaine, nous cherchions à créer un verre capable de magnifier les caractéristiques des grands vins. Durant sa création nous recherchions une forme qui inclue tous les sens, le nom Sensory était né. Le verre exprime à l œil la sensualité, il est parfaitement équilibré en main et donne un son clair et persistant. La large base du verre, son corps arrondi et l'ouverture du buvant amplifient les arômes, provoquant une sensation ample et soyeuse en bouche.
